1. What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains how Pipingmind uses cookies and similar technologies on pipingmind.com, including local storage used to remember your consent choice.
It should be read together with our Privacy Policy at /privacy/. If you have questions, contact us at contact@pipingmind.com.
3. How Pipingmind uses them
We do not use advertising or behavioral advertising cookies, and we do not sell personal information.
We ask for your choice before loading optional analytics. You can Accept all, Reject non-essential, or Customize categories. You can change that choice later from Cookie settings in the site footer.
4. Categories we use
4.1 Necessary
These are required to operate and secure the Services and to store your cookie preference so we do not ask you on every visit. They cannot be switched off through the banner.
- Cookie consent record stored in your browser (local storage) so we remember Accept, Reject, or customized choices.
- Hosting, security, and technical logs operated by our website host as described in the Privacy Policy.
4.2 Analytics (optional)
If you accept analytics, we load Vercel Web Analytics to collect privacy-friendly, aggregated page-view metrics (for example, which pages were visited). These metrics do not include IDF file contents or full filenames.
Vercel Web Analytics is designed to operate without advertising cookies. We still treat it as optional and load it only after consent, because it measures site usage.
4.3 Anonymous visit counting (opt-out available)
We keep a first-party count of how many times each page is opened. Only the date, the page path, and a running total are recorded on our own server. No cookie is set for this, and no IP address, browser identifier, or any other information that could single out a visitor is stored.
Because this counting is anonymous, aggregated, first-party, and used solely for audience measurement, it runs by default in line with data-protection guidance on consent-exempt audience measurement. You can still switch it off at any time using Cookie settings in the site footer (the “Anonymous visit counting” toggle), and your browser will stop sending the count.
5. Third parties
Our website is hosted on Vercel. If you accept analytics, page-view metrics are processed by Vercel as our service provider.
The IDF Viewer may load resources from third-party content delivery networks and font providers. Those providers may receive technical data such as your IP address when your browser requests those resources. That loading is part of delivering the viewer, not advertising.
6. How to manage your choices
- Use Accept all, Reject non-essential, or Customize on the cookie banner.
- Open Cookie settings from the website footer at any time to change or withdraw analytics consent.
- Use the “Anonymous visit counting” toggle in Cookie settings to opt out of the first-party page-view counter.
- You can also clear site data in your browser settings, which will reset the stored consent choice and show the banner again.
7. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy when our technologies or legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest revision.
8. Contact
